How do I set validation rules to check for SCCA license types?

The "True if license in comma-delimited list" test will look up a license (currently only for SCCA until other clubs make this data available) and take action based on whether or not the license is valid through the start date of the event.

Each validation rule may check one or more licenses separated by commas using the following table of options:

For the ProSolo Superpass, the validation rule would have a value of "solo:superpass". For checking a registrar license, the rule would be "club racing:registrar".

If you want to check for a valid Road Racing license, the validation rule would have a value of "road racing:competition". This check is inclusive of National, Regional, and Full competition licenses.  Multiple license checks use "program:license,program:license,program:license"

These checks are case-insensitive.

You can also check multiple licenses at once, such as looking for any valid Steward license: "road racing:steward,time trials:steward,rallycross:steward". If the attendee passes any of those three tests, they would be considered valid.

When validating Annual Waivers, all:multi event waiver will check for both adult annual waivers and minor annual waivers.

As of December 2021, Pro Racing Licenses are no longer accepted at SCCA Runoffs & U.S. Majors Tour Events.

2025: SCCA Updated the verbiage of Club Racing to Road Racing. Either rule format will work on MSR validation rules.
